From early on, Cydi Robinson knew she would be doing something in the beauty business. The designated "hair braider" on her high school team's bus rides, always had a passion for helping people feel good about their appearance. That passion that has been the driving force throughout her career, and the reason she owns and operates her successful Grandview, Ohio salon-Avola Lanza Hair and Nail Studio.
A stint in California in the field of theater arts and makeup design wet her appetite for a time, but hair and beauty were always her calling. So, with that calling pulling at her she returned to Ohio, finished a cosmetology degree, and began working as a stylist. Eventually, the opportunity to own and operate a salon presented itself and she was ready for the challenge, with the support and expertise of mentors to guide her along.
Today, the mother of three has a hopping, thriving business, and credits her love of the industry for the success she has achieved. As Cyndi says, "If you do what you love and embrace the long hours, it never seems like work!". So true Cyndi!
